Since it is gold and black... White or grey would work well because of the black. I wouldn't go blue because that tends to be a strain on the eyes for some reason.... I'd say purple because of the gold, but I would have to see it, though orang might look good too.

All I know is reds wouldn't look good and neither would pink. And blue would be a problem.
